In its three decades of existence, Vipal has believed that Social Responsibility is based on the values that represent the Vipal Group: respect for dialogue and the person, observance of laws and regulations, ethics, transparency, and, especially, continuous learning obtained through practice.

We attempt to learn by experience, listening to and respecting the different publics with which we relate: employees, consumers, suppliers, clients, community and society. This is a challenging task and a constant search for progressive victories.

We are fully aware that companies, governments and non-governmental organizations have different objectives and roles to play, but balanced societies need everyone’s participation. This is why the exercise of corporative citizenship is a part of our internal culture, as a practice that besides seeking improved living conditions offers a solid relationship with governments and organizations from the third sector in the communities where it is inserted.

The company’s presence in the communities includes activities to support education, health, sports, art and culture, as well as promoting opportunities for economic development.

Many projects have been developed and supported by Vipal. Some began many years ago and others are seeds that have recently been planted. One of the most important initiatives is education.

We believe that education is one of the moving forces to transform society.
