Vipal installs new buffer in Spain

Differentials such as those led Recauchutados Muralla S.A. (Remusa), in Spain, to acquire its second Vipal machine, a VR01 Smart DUO buffer. Robust and fully automated, it has exclusive software and it is desigend to guarantees high performance, with low energy consumption per retreaded tyre.  With buffing capacity of up to 35 tyres per hour with perfect texture and finishing of the tyre shoulders, the VR01 Smart DUO delivers high performance, with productivity and superior quality. Its unique rotating tower system ensures greater productivity and, consequently, reduced operating costs. The model has better physical yield, because it is compact, and robustness, with great removal of rubber at each advance of the buffing tower.  “We decided that it was time to invest in expanding our production capacity and, as always, we counted on Vipal to deliver the best solutions for our business. We are confident that this machine will provide greater efficiency, savings and great results for our company," says Enrique Rodriguez Leiva, partner at Remusa.  According to Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal in Europe, the Spanish retreader is one of the most important partners of the European subsidiary and a customer for more than 30 years. “We have an excellent relationshion with Remusa throughout the many years we have been working together and they were the first European retreader to acquire a machine from the company,” he says. “This is an important step to optimise production and reduce retreading costs, which will certainly further improve its results,” highlights the manager.  Before the VR01 Smart DUO buffer, Remusa had acquired, at the end of 2020, a VOC760 CARGO orbicushion. The model guarantees the most uniform and effective application of tyre cushion in the processes of commercial tyre renewal, also improving the yield of the raw materials used.
